Bamboo plates

Why are our plates made from bamboo?
We use bamboo instead of melamine because we have a strong commitment to protecting the environment. Bamboo is a biodegradable material and an eco-friendly alternative to plastic. Unlike melamine which takes thousands of years to decompose bamboo can break down in a short span of time when buried or composted. When you choose biodegradable products made from plants, you’re helping reduce landfill.

Are our bamboo plates dishwasher safe?
Yes! For longevity, we recommend that they be washed in the top shelf.

Can I use my plates in the microwave?
No. The bamboo plates are not microwave safe.

How resistant is bamboo?
Bamboo is pretty sturdy and should last a good 4 to 5 years with standard daily use. Please note that if dropped on a hard surface, the plate may split.

Prints

Do you offer framing services?
We don't offer framing services, as this would increase shipping costs and risk of damage during transit. It’s safer and more economical for you to get your print framed yourself. This also allows you to choose a style that suits your décor. Our prints fit standard frame measurements. (Note: Ikea offers a wide range of affordable frames.)

How are they packaged?
Every order is packaged with all the love and care it deserves.

  • A4 and A3 prints are protected by a clear cello bag* and thick backing boards* and packed flat in a rigid envelope.
  • A2 and A1 prints are protected by a clear cello bag* and rolled into a hard cardboard roll.

*Backing boards are made from 100% recycled, thick (700gsm) boxboard material
*All cello bags are 100% recycled, FSC certified and made of 40-micron polypropylene

How are they printed?
Our prints are printed with true photographic quality HP ElectroInk.
